This year the entire 8th grade class will be going to the Festival of Nations at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. This trip will take place on Friday, May 4th, 2018.

The cost is $14.00 which includes admission to the festival and transportation. This field trip supports student learning in Global Studies and other curricular areas. Students will have an opportunity to learn about various cultures and people from around the world.

They will have an opportunity to attend performances and presentations throughout the day about race, ethnicity, citizenship, and immigration. They will hear from refugees, sample food from various countries, and learn about various ethnic groups. Each student will receive a passport and will need to provide evidence and reflection on their cultural learning experiences upon their return.
