The HUB is Accepting Donations The HUB could use your donations! Hands-on learning is a critical part of what happens in our HUB (Media Center). By working in our MakerSpace area, learners practice collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and creativity. The most simple supplies can make for rich learning. A picture retake day is set up for any new students, students that were absent on original picture day or for students who are not 100% satisfied with their picture package and want their portrait retaken. Please bring the original picture package with you to the camera, therefore, ensuring the correct order is printed for your retake picture. Student Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures Thanks to all of you for your cooperation in following our student drop off and pick up procedures. See diagram below. It is for your child’s safety that we insist all pick-up and drop-off traffic must pull completely around into the circle before the car door is opened. Our staff works to move traffic as efficiently as possible. Cars pulling out of the line before reaching the end of the circle, not only endanger other students, but also send the wrong message to students and other parents who are complying with this safety measure. If you have an emergency that requires you to leave more quickly than the five to ten minutes it takes to move all cars through our circle, we ask that you park and walk to the circle or office to pick up your child. Please do not allow your child to walk down the line and enter your car before reaching the end of the circle. We also ask that you do not stop wherever your child is standing, but pull as far... PRIDE is Everywhere at Pioneer Ridge! What is PRIDE? PRIDE is our system of implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS). It’s purpose is to provide a school-wide, district-wide approach for teaching, recognizing, and rewarding positive student behaviors while identifying and discussing undesirable behaviors. The PRIDE program also supports the district’s Behaviors that Support Learning which all teachers will be reporting on this year. The PRIDE acronym stands for: P-Prepared R– Respectful I – Integrity D– Dependable E- Excellence Rewarding Student Positive Behavior-PRIDE Green PRIDE Tickets: Students displaying positive behaviors that support learning will be issued green tickets.
